Selected previous Clients & Projects:
Enterprise Northland and Destination Northland
Enterprise Northland is the lead economic development agency for the Northland region, while Destination Northland focuses on the tourism sector. I assisted these two organisations with media communications, newsletters and other projects from 2003 to 2009, reporting to chief executive Brian Roberts.
Westmark Group Ltd
Westmark was one of the two joint-venture developers of the $60 million Chancery retail and office complex in central Auckland’s High Street. I was responsible for strategy and execution of the project’s launch to the media in December 1999, which generated coverage lasting more than three months.
Vector Ltd (formerly Mercury Energy)
Along with other consultants, I was called in during the 1998 Auckland CBD power crisis, handling communications for the construction of the Penrose-Quay Street link which restored power to the city.
Following the crisis, I continued to work with Mercury on projects such as internal communications, support for other construction projects (including input into two videos) and development of a “plain English” guide to a new contract for retailers.
Colliers Jardine
Colliers Jardine (now Colliers International) was a client for seven years from 1993. I was responsible for ongoing media publicity for properties being marketed by Colliers Jardine and for the company’s own research and market commentary, and copy for Colliers Jardine’s special publications.

I worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1995 to 1998 on media communications for research projects, new products and company initiatives.
